Well MRU needs some new features and big changes.
Bless vic for dooing them all for us today hwoever we cant keep bothering him , he doesnt have the time to do all our changes either. i have to start learning PHP so i can do some serious work to the site like stuff discussed here. [topic]2284[/topic]
I dont reallly want to learn php as it will eat up even more of my time, i would rather be spending that time learning c++ but ok:D.
Does anyone have any advice on getting started?
What do i need?
looking at it now, i have to donwload a php thingie and then i dunno:S. I can make changes and view it on my pc right? then upload to a webserver later?
man i wish i hadnt skipped off my web classes, A lesson to u kids, dont skip school! even if ur m8s gf is a slut.

start off at www.neocrome.net the home of ldu for loads of tutorials, downlaods and help on the forums
install wamp from here which installs a full webserver onto your local host
if your learning php jus for this ldu powered site dont bother, jus learn what bits of php ldu uses from downloading some plugins and taking them apart to see how they work, do the same for mysql
