i had a really long post but i hit backspace and the damn thing makes my IE go back.

   

   Ok heres a map i was working on before i started my swim season i just got around to finishing it now. Cobra helped with ideas.

   

   This is an obj script for the single player conversion m5l3. also know as brest in sh and bt.

   There are 4 objectives. Objectives are made from exploders and are simular to the objs u see in the sp version of the map.

   

   The objectives:

   -Call In airstrike on tiger

   -Use Binocs to call in airstrike on flak

   -Plant bomb and destroy the tower

   -Plant 2 bombs and destroy the bridge (round ends after bridge is blown)

   

   The Extras/Fx:

   -A ride-able opel truck - ride it accros the map

   -Intro scene setting the stage for the objectives

   -Cutscenes for each obj

   

   Thanks to cobra, Also remember this is a beta. i had not gotten the spawns FULLY worked out but these should do for a while.

Removed all my custom ubersounds and keeps spamming
ERROR: Entity::Sound: tank_vehicle_crash needs an alias in ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scr - Please fix.
   ERROR: Entity::LoopSound: tank_snd_run needs an alias in ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scr - Please fix.
   ERROR: Entity::LoopSound: tank_tread_snd_stone needs an alias in ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scr - Please fix.
Any idea?

click that edit was unnessesary. if u look in the m5l3 sounds u would see i cached those.

   

   hey everyone im on a really crappy computer in the hotel.  prbably wont here from me again until sunday.

If your adding models to a map that use sound and they werent originally in that map then yes you will need to cache sounds for it/them

i know cobra. and i did cache them check the m5l3sounds.scr

   

   and the sounds in the error hes getting are already cached for the map but i cached themagain.

   

   my sounds.scr was made out of the playertank. hence clicks edit was useless.

Sorry to butt in man, it just wasnt working well for me I guess. "Maybe I didnt put the sound file in my mod along with the script" The Truck sounds wouldnt work for me untill the second round, or sometimes not at all. I will retract the post np. I did a full day of testing on the script on a "full" dedicated 20 man server, with adminpro version 1.22

SH + BT would need a round restart for the sounds, AA doesnt, thats where the confusion was i think, so yes Click - you were right to mention it, the restartah thread would be needed.

Yah i just realised when i noticed the restartah thread - had to add that in E1L3 for the sounds to kick in, SH + BT defo need it - maybe re-post the thread for em Click incase some need it
