Hay all,



   I need some virus software! I want a good firewall (any price) and free virus software that dosnt mess up your computer aswell eg norton. Ive heard kaspersky is good? Any suggestions will be considered. By the way i dont want bundles of software just a virus scanner/remover and firewall.

I use kaspersky beta cos its free. NOD is pretty cool also.



   then u got the usualy anti spywares



   MS antispyware

   Adaware

   spybot



   MS also has a beta anti virus , google 'one care'

   I think people usualy are over protective, I didnt get a virus for ages, i dont scan each week, im just not stupid and dl 1kb files named cod. Use a decent browser.



   turn off all the real time checking stuff , put a scheduled scan on. sorted.

I think you have to be over protective with the internet as theres always someone trying to drop a trojan or something onto your pc.

Some websites do it as you open the page - if you dont detect it - then you have a virus.
