yep, i have always used FRAPS but might be worth checking this program. Im downloading it and testing as well, thanks for the tip too runtman

Dunno much about compression with divx etc. just used broadband preset on Windows moviemaker.
Filesize is less than fraps anyway.

I downloaded the trial version of gamecam lite 1.4
works fine, but has a watermark.
didn't find a good working 'little patch program' for it.

The big difference is the file size. fraps makes very very big files. gamecam doesn't. Besides, it doesn't drop your fps to 30/60 whatever.
Youtube quality is bad.

fraps is the best out of all other programs seem to not work on all games were fraps does only probs i have with fraps is i cant make tut vids using radiant

i believe fraps will only work ingame . try downloading camstuidio for non gaming recordings, the freeware copy has it's limitations but i use it all the time and have made vid tuts with it ...
