Title: Melting time in Mefy FT
Post by: max on March 01, 2015, 12:17:57 PM
I want to decrease the melting time it takes to melt a player in freezetag. Can someone help me out by telling me where to look? I thought I would find it in the global/libmef/ft.scr file but if it's there I overlooked it.

Thanks in advance

hi max

As u might know you had to add some codes to activate the freeze-tag mod to your server config file.

For example:

// FT Specific settings
set g_ft_settings "meltgun: on melttime: 10 meltradius: 100 frozenmsg: loc name bodycodes meltmsg: loc name force"

where u see "meltime: 10" u may change the value 10 to a lower number, then u get a faster melting.

You can also change it on  global/libmef/ft.scr:

search for this line :

   waitthread global/libmef/gametypes.scr::new_setting "melttime" int 20

and change the number 20 to a lower value.

hope this helps!  ;)
