So I am workin on a new anticheat that will be better than the good-old rusty MOHAAC, the main reason behind it is the fact that mohaac can be bypssed or already bypassed,
It'll be called MAC(short of MOHAA Anti Cheat).
Features:
1-Ultimate Cheat Detection:
It is going to only detect cheats that affect mohaa, while other non-cheat mods are safely disregarded.
2-Clean/Pure/Dirty players:
In order to make the game more playable, Alot of players download custom mods maps etc. by default MAC wont touch them unless they have some sort of hacks inside,
So to demonstrate,
A Clean Player is a player that has custom mods installed, but with no hacks at all.
A Pure Player is a player that has no custom mods or files in the game what so ever, Just the stock game.
A Dirty Player is a player that has hacks inside the game.
3-Dedicated WebSite:
The project will have a dedicated website so every body can see match/player/war status. It will also be the only way to login in order to use the anticheat
4-War Management/ClanBase like system:
The project will include war managing options, Like create a war match , with a lot of options to make the game more playable.
It will also have a ClanBase like ladder sys but thats later, I need to get it working first :D.
5-XFire replacement:
The core of the program will allow to view a list of mohaa servers world wide, which is just like xfire,
Also there will be a minimal chat client for chatting with other players, sounds nice right? But it'll be later if I had time for it.
6-MOHAAC's basic stuff:
Like match ids and mac ids etc, except for the infraction system will be replaced with a better/smarter one.
7-Server Side API:
I have been thinking to make a pk3 that will contain settings and etc for wars. Which will be able to communicate with make indirectly making it alot easier for server owners to host war matches/League matches.

you know we are aiming to replace moh? what about omoh etc?

Tbh you could almost create a list of all known cheats and detect those. No one is making new ones?
For wallhacks it's easy:
blendfunc add <--- This is what give the player a semi transparent look
nodepthtest <-- this is what renders the players through walls
Those can be easly detect,

and ofc hash checking mohaa files etc

for sh & bt it's blendFunc with GL_SRC_ALPHA.
And it should be compatible with openmohaa ofc, unless leyok decides to implement an anti cheat sys in openmohaa which will make mine useless lol
I like the plan Ryback, we can support you in the way of a test server to run it from, if any of the team can assist you in any way just ask in the ChatRooms or here. I was surprised to read that no-one else even bothers making these anymore.
On the other side there are projects as you know going on in the background, im sure we can work around these together to achieve your goal, just let us know what you need and we can set this in motion, im guessing it is ready for trialling?
