Title: Sfx weapons stash

if in theory i wanted to create a hidden weapon room on a stock map through script with a hidden door would this be posible ? ;)

   i couldn't find any refernce to this sort of thing anywhere on the net so maybe u guys know ?

   

   ( also plz dont move this post to unrestricted )

any map really we could use mohdm2 ( destryd vllg ) as a starting point

hehe i also had an idea to make the teleporter visable 2 us but not them

   

   

   if someone can tell me where the corona is in pak0 i can simply make a copy of it and distribute the pak to those who i wanted 2 see it the where the teleport is we would spawn not " corona " but " copy of corona" lol ;)

   

   

   ( it wouldn't be the whole of pak0 just the corona )

That would give certain players an unfair advantage - the mods need to be accessible by all m8

Theres a room in stalingrad that you can teleport to that has no way in or out without teleporters - might be a nice place to stash something ;)

   The teleporters would need to be seen by all tho.

   

   If you look at any mod we have released that uses a corona you will see how they must be spawned ;)

the coords you can find in the download of the 3 stalingrad teleporters (mod files)  - one ports you there and theres another inside the room to get you back out ;)

ah ok thanks guys ,

   

   so if i were to use another map is there anyway to create walls through scripting or remove walls through script that sort of thing anything like that will help ;)

No m8, best we can do is teleporters to a certain room or area where there is normally no access to

On a modded map called Schplatzburg (or something like that) there is a little cellar underneath 2 farm houses. There is a wall that looks normal to the eye but you press e and it opens. It has no ammo in it but it is a nice little spot to hide in.

you could put a teleporter in dv. I know the perfect spot to. it is accessable by all but a teleporter would be cool to have  there. You could put some weapons there too if you wanted. i will post a screenie of it if you desire me to.

some server i think it was one of the 33rd ones made it so you hit e on doors that are usually locked and it puts you on different roofs

i tried to get into the room in stali by turning off the gravity and floating down to the window. but it didnt work. thouthg i could get there without a teleporter.

heres my two bits. Lets start with stalingrad. you can use one of the small rooms (bathroom for expmple) and put a script_objectb in the door so the people can see the weapons inside but cant get to them. So you create a teleporter wherever an tthee you have it! a teleporter weapon stash thingy(yeah aint my vocabulary great lol?)

i got somehting to say, i9 was on a server yesterday, when you spawn, you have the weapon you chose, and a back-up weapon that you cannot change, its an m1 garand, its a backup gun, so if youhave smg thats all, and wanna get someone whos really far, and you know there so pull it out and bang

Here's an idea.

   

   Why not make an entirely new map, cos then you wouldnt have to worry about theres an empty room here with no doors and size. Plus, you can put all sorts of crazy stuff into the downloaded pak, so we could come out of the room bouncing on rubber duckies! :p

   That would be the best way, but i think everyones to lazy to make there own stuff nowadays, they expect it all on a plate instead of doing what everyone else does..  LEARN!

Ive got an update on the creating a room and having all weapons...

   

   you can create a room which is invisible (not sure if you can overlay something over em yet to make em visible), but i was patching a road with..

   

   local.clipbrush1 = spawn script_object

   local.clipbrush1.origin = ( 1872 -3888 -232 )

   local.clipbrush1.angle = ( 0 90 0)

   local.clipbrush1 setsize ( -200 -200 -20 ) ( 200 200 20 )

   local.clipbrush1 solid

   

   and it occured to me you could use the same to build that room (or anything else usable for that matter if you have the patience to do it)

   

   the all weapons, just spawn a trigger use and have it setthread gimme

   

   gimme:

   local.player = parm.other

   local.player wuss

   end

   

   It works fine ive tried it, you have all the games weapons till you die.

   (remember to add that corona for all to see and play fair ;)
