when you join a server it says> ----- is preparing for deployment> ----- has entered the battle> ----- has joined the axis/allies> can i change this to what ever i want? and if so were can i do this??

yes this is server side for AA only.

   

   find global/localisation.txt

   

   edit the 2nd param of that line and it will change.

   

   eg

   

   the line is somehting like this

   

   {"is preparing for deployment"} {"is preparing for deployment"}

   

   change it to

   

   {"is preparing for deployment"} {" getting his kit on"}

you can find it in Pak6.pk3 use Pakscape

it dont work for me coz everytime i edit it it goes back to normal but localisation.txt stays how i left it. 1 prob with that viper1, it will make all the other servers appear like its ur text but its just your localisation.txt interfiering so theres no real point because most people would have edited their localisation.txt and yours wont show!!

your correct m8 i,ve been tryin all morning but no matter what i try it stays the same, i was able to change the death msgs a month ago so now i have --- tripped on his own nade hehe noob that sort of thing but il try again l8r when i get a bit of time! i think it might not be saving after changing it for sum reason! anyhoo if i work it out il let ya know. thx all

When you edit it and save it in the right spot it works when u host a server or u put it in the right spot in servers. It is server side not client side. I did it and it worked fine. I just edited it how I wanted made a folder in main folder called global and saved the edited localization.txt in there. you keep spelling it localisation.txt so i hope you didn't rename to that when you tested. One reason it might not be saving is cuz u might be trying to save into the pk3 which won't do a thing!

thats were i made the mistake then, i was saving it back to the pk.3. so with this being for my public server i must open the pk.3 edit to what i want then create a folder called global and save it to there?? then put in the global folder in core ftp then reboot server?

yes ssir..and dont edit ur origonal paks ever. always make new folders.

   I cant remember but when you change the "Press fire to join" You canb change that, BUT! What is the script to make it go to the next line.

   I know its sometyhing like /r or r/ or r or r  I can not remember.
