Hi

   I am looking for some help from a modder, I admin a server for my kids and there friends, we run assassination mod 24/7 on a spearhead server. This mod runs on 6 of the mohdm maps. I contacted the author (Rookie One) and also spoke to mefy about adding more maps, unfortunatly both declined for one reason or another and as far as I go making a skin is my limit, so, Is there a modder out there that could add anymore stock maps to this excellent mod, the mod can be found at the site below

   mefy said " you just have to modify the spawn points for each map and determine where the escape point will be."

   

   which is double dutch to me

ok.

   

   where did u contct mefy? why wud u need to modify all the spawn points:s why not just detect spawn?

   

   

   so choose in a map the place u want the spy dude to esxcape. hmm

   

   

   also in the k3 thethere is no maps foldeR?

   I contacted mefy on his forum http://mefymods.clan-dwr.com, as far as modifying spawn points well I havent got a clue, I would be happy with the normal spawn points.

   the map folder you spoke about maybe missing because you have to run the addon in conjuction with mefys extended game type 1.2.2 , the folder may be in there

   

   I looked in the Assassination addon pk3, are any of these the files you are looking for ?

   

   global/libmef/gametypes/as.scr

   global/asscripts/dm/mohdm1.scr

   global/asscripts/dm/mohdm2.scr

   global/asscripts/dm/mohdm3.scr

   global/asscripts/dm/mohdm4.scr

ok.

   

   i see, he has used a meathod of blocking spawn points, why not dissable cmd? hmm.. maybe if they dont have a tname..but it wud be a array..anyway.

   

   You have to find every spawn point origin in the map you want to edit. Then setup new origins in the script file. Then set a place ( origin ) to excape from.

   

   

   I guess u want it on SH maps? Does any1 have all the spawn point places for Sh maps?

Hi

   most of the boys run spearhead so that would be great, but any maps would be fine.

yhea there is a few mods out with all the info you need - my libmod is one

   

   I used the same method which rindog originally  scripted :)

Why do you have to block the spawn points, what is the reason for that ?

In most stock AA maps (well, all of them apart from Remagen) have spawnpoints for both teams located on both sides of the map (or even just scattered all over it). This means there's a chance that the VIP or his team spawns just a little bit too close to the extraction point. ;)

   

   I'm going to post a little tutorial here about how to set up maps for the gametype.

That would be great, but could you keep it simple as I have no modding experience.

   As a matter of interest is it only tdm maps that can be converted or can any map be changed

i can't figure out how to post this right or start a new thread or if i should so i'll put it here, i just registerd here looking for new mods client and server and came across the mp40 to mp 5 mod. This is a very cool mod however when you bash withit it disapearse and you here a bunch of reloading sounds, it's prob just a script error but like the other guy said "It's double Dutch to me!" I have a universal punisher skin that mt-clip made for me i can trade. It has Italy, british, russian, and the usual axis and allied skin with their nationality weapons, however i am looking for a femal skin version of this same mod if someone wants the challenge, my daughter won't stop wearing my skin on the server. hehe let me know what can be done contact me at I'm running spearhead btw

The MP5 was made for AA which doesnt have any bash anims so cant help you there unless Elite3d wants to add anims to it?

Thanks to sorridstroker's spawn block files I managed to setup stadt,banhof and Verschneit for assassination mod
