Question: is there a mod to limit the amount of player suicides?  Something like 3 (or number to be set) suicides and they are kicked or banned for the day?

Well I tried the script above but it didn't work..  Must not be doing it right..  Placed it in my map mod file server side..

This is for the server side (multiplayer MOH Spearhead).

   

   QUESTION: do I need a server side ubersound (ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scr) file in my global, if I'm running Elgan's Admin PRO?  I searched for scriptmaster and found a forum post (threads -> scripts to share & sound).

   

   

   Looked in the mainta/pak1.pk3 file (server side) and found the following:

   I believe the ERROR is calling out (snd_step_sand, not snd_step_sand1) the below info, if I'm correct in what you explained above:

Hi,

   

   I'm getting an error on the omaha beach map.

   

   ERROR PlaySound snd_step_sand needs an alias in ubersound.scr or uberdialog.scr - Please fix

Does anyone know how to turn off this on a Spearhead Client?  I forgot....  It is located on the bottom Left side of my screen and it interferes with the server ADMIN PRO (Elgan's) message center messages.  Actually blocks them.  For some reason, I remember this on the top right of the screen and now it looks like it moved somehow..  LOL

   

   Please help.

MOHAA Series: General / Bazooka Range, and Accuracy

I'm tring to give the bazooka rocket a longer air range and also make it more accurate.  I assumed that airange should be changed to long.

   

   

   From the Bazooka.tik file:

   //      airange         medium  //original

         airange         long


   

   I also changed the bulletspread to 5 5 10 10, but still it is inaccurate.

   

   //      sp bulletspread      5 5 500 500  //original

         sp bulletspread      5 5 10 10

What I did to my player skins was to delete everything within the skin_fps.tik file.

   

   Example: allied_marine_fps.tik  size = 0

   

   This is for the fps server hack fix, it stated that we should delete the contents of the skin_fps.tik file, then place the skins onto the server.  Maybe I got the fix info wrong?

   

   Question: I also have Elgan's Admin Pro on my server.  Doesn't the Admin Pro have the player skin fps fix already included in its files?

   

   Please let me know.

Doesn't the new BOF patch file fix this?  My (WINDOWS SERVER based MOHAA SPEARHEAD)server was being crashed 16 to 20 times a day, but since I put this BOF patch on the server, I don't get crashed much at all.  Maybe once a day or once a week still.  When "they(?)" crash me now, the server won't auto-restart anymore. It says it is in an infinite loop.  So it doesn't shutdown to auto-restart and the players can't connect to play the game.  Someone once gave me a edited server auto-restart file that checked for this infinite loop scenario and if it detected it, it would restart the server as if it were crashed (or shutdown).

   

   My new issue is that someone is in the spectator mode and kills people in the game.  Then for every kill in the game, it registers X10 (1 kill = 10 kills).  I went into the game and seen some guy with over 400 kills in less than 4 minutes in the game.  Does anyone have or know where I can get a fix for this?

   

   Also, another issue is that someone is somehow doing a map restart serveral times in the game.  One after the another and won't stop.  Somehow I changed the map and it seems to stop, but this happens at least once a day too. Question: is this the hexed out gamexl86.dll file fix for spearhead available?

   

   Any ideas?
