Elbot 3.0 Release

So final release. No one has reported anything in a lil while. So i Decided to release it.

   

   testing with my brother has been great fun..

   

   For those of you who dont know what Elgbot is:

   

   Elgbot is a small programme that counts stats.

   It has in game stats and hit location events.

   headshot, bash, sucidies and sounds from the game UT. For killing sprees and double kills.

   * Mohaa is fully supported

   * Spearhead only kills and deaths are detected. Killing sprees and double kills.

   *  Breathrough  only kills and deaths are detected. Killing sprees and double kills.

   

   language support:

   it's possible to load during the game and before the game through the elgbot menus a language ini for the server language. These still may have some mistakes as i do not speak any other language apart from a poor version of British mixed english.

   

   If anyone manages to get some good screenshots feel free to post. Youtube vids are also welcome

Hm can't get it to work Elgan. Started elgbot3.exe and put the pk3 in main. I don't see the 'elgbot on' text anywhere.

   The program keeps searching for AA, SH and BT. Tried public servers, and started a server myself. I tried the dutch and english language file, but nothing works.

   

   oh, it's modtheater.com, not modstheater.com (readme.txt).

was it minimized? this happened to me once and i was unable to replicate the error to fix it.

   

   no one reported it so just assumed it was my mind. shit.lol

   

   

   try it again and let me know, if it happens again, try alt tabbing to elgbot and just mouse over anything. Let me know what happens.

That worked, it says 'Elgbot on' now.

   

   But it only creates statistics on my local server. Not on publics.

if it was on while on a public server,  when u close elgbot it should save, ive only tested it on publics.

   

   hm, interesting. Im going to play some now and see if it adds up.

   This program/mod doesn't care about the weapon which is used I think.

   It 'just' counts the kills, deaths and hitlocations.

   

   Download and try it, you'll see what I mean.

I have a problem.  Every time I try to set an announcement by hitting customize in the main window and changing the text then pressing enter or clicking ok, it just erases whatever I typed and leaves it blank.  The only messages that stayed were got bash and got unstoppable.  I could just be missing something obvious but any help would be appreciated.  BTW great work on this.

im sorry i uploaded the wrong version, u may of noticed i deleted the upload.

   

   this is because i uploaded a bad version as the release. sorry guys.

   

   i have the only working version of elgbot,  i didnt upload it as a new release yet as it still has a bug, (grenades dont count for kills) other than that it seems 100%. I also wanted to update it a  lil. with some extra features, stats and stuff

Hey elgan I found a sort of problem, It didn't matter whether i got a headshot or was hit in the head by someone else, it still counted it as a headshot. so i would die and get a headshot, or a double kill or something. Am i doing something wrong?
