Unable to restore Spearhead after minimize

Unable to restore Spearhead after minimizing - either with ctr + alt + del OR alt + enter.  Anybody have the same issue?

   

   When Spearhead is restoring, error screen pops up - "Spearhead has encountered a problem and needs to close", or Spearhead just closes/crashes.

   

   Any help?  I have 2 desktops and one laptop does the same thing.  Tested stock, same result.

I finally figured it out -

   

   Spearhead settings had to be on 16 bit.  I've had them on 32 bit for several years ahhhhhh...

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend going to 16 bit settings - as the fog more than doubles in the maps, leaving you with limited visibility.

   

   Altho, if you exit the server but stay in Spearhead - you can minimize and restore in 32 bit, just not while you're on a server.

that's weird i minimize spearhead all the time while on server with 32 bit settings.and go back to maximize with 0 problems..of course my method is prob crude on how i do it lol..ctrl alt hit delete to minimize...right click..click maximize...prob a better way but works for me:)

could be a vid card issue perhaps - as i heard a few have no problems in 32 bit.

2 hours later - looked like it was a duplicate hud...everything is working good now.

   

   at least players know not to be in 16 bit now.
