In-Game Admin Being Built

   Bet some of you didnt know im a programmer hehe

   

   i was on TS and i heard about phil and cobra talkin about makin one, was keeping it quiet that i allready started (even know cobra knows, i think he was trying 2 hint me to say sumtin! lol)

   

   Some of the functions that the program has at the moment:

   

   Rcon Connection sucessful

   Ban

   Kick

   Status

   mIRC Integeration (For Login in)

   

   Still to come:

   Users

   User Ristrictions (Like admins cannot ban but can kick)

   Login in game (With Rcon - No you dont need the rcon password)

   Super Admin (Controls the users)

   

   & more if i think of it lol

   

   This is programed in Visual Basic 6... Beta testing in 1 month, Maybe less

yes i had an idea about doing something like that but couldn't be bothered :lazy

   a function i thought i would suggest although you probably have something better or simmilar is an  server running this program could be maybe the server mohaa runs on with ts or someone like cobra :p

   

   you load up your coppy and put the ip of the server in and a

   level 1 userpassword then the server realises thats level 1 ((eg remember)) so it recognizes you cannot ban (( you mentioned)) but you can kick so if you send a kick command the server forwards it to the mohaa server with the actual rcon password if you send a ban command if checks if your allowed to sees you cant and doesn't forward it , but sends a message back

   

   using vb u said , u could set up a userlevel form which holds textboxes with level 1

   level 2

   ect ect all up to super admin passwords so you can change em easy and in the main form you have a console the mohaa server ip and mohaa rcon

Ok.. Ingame Admin Currently At 60% Complete:

   FTP Support ( For Log Files )

   mIRC Support (For loging in...)

   

   

   mIRC Features:

   View In-Game Chat

   Chat to in game people

   View Player List (With IP Address Removed)

   & Current Map!

   

   mIRC Features Still To Come:

   Login

   Logout

   

   

   Still To Program In:

   User Adding/Editing Form

   In-Game Commands (!kick, !pi etc etc...)

   Super Admin (has control over other admins)

   Direct File Access (optional for FTP)

   Nickname And IP Address Matching For Banning Reasons (NOT CASE SENSITIVE)

   Add a tray icon for the application (System Clock)

   

   Still to come optional (On/off button) features:

   Dont let other admins be able to kick admins

   Super Admin can send a manual Rcon via mIRC, or in game

   

   More: (if i can be arsed)

   Isted of typin !pi to find the players information, type part of their nickname, Take Cobra for example:

   !kick|cob

   and it would kick Cobra (Example mate lol)

   

   Thats all ive done so far... I will need beta testing soonish... so dont ask me, i will come 2 u!

   MohWatch claims there is no mIRC bot for mohaa....may I see a screeny?

   

   This may prove useful, because here is my server setup:

   

   Main server on a Mac OSX, running two states away.

   

   Me, on a windows platform.

   

   Shall it still work? I need it...
