some1 keeps renaming my server to some other clan server name lol .

   i know im good !!!! but you dont have to steal my server lmfao .

   

   all you have to do is say , pls make my server as good as yours ! then grow the F up .

   you can even have the dam server , i just use it for testing stuff , & never play there my self .

   only i have ever had rcon , and you need that to change the cfg ,,,,, well i think you do lol .

Make sure you put the sv_allowdownload 0 line in the config.  And change the rcon password.

That, and the game comes with rcon. For example if you wanted to set rcon without any rcon menu stuff, type in set rconpassword xxx in the windows console, then when you get in the game type in set rconpassword xxx

   xxx = password - manual rcon in game - type in console rcon xxx COMMANDHERE

   Also the rcon menu's use the game's rcon commands anyway, the rcon menu's just make is more easy. My advice is to download a rcon menu rom where ever and have it just incase you need it.

   Well you don't have to have the rcon to change the config. Some times you do but most of the time its manual setup.:D

   That is if you didn't know that by now:blush

   I have never knew that you could change someone's server name like that, lol. For my server I got protection, the sv_allowdownload 0 dosn't always work:(

   I don't really know how people do it but if you figure out the password to the server's config's, you can do A LOT.

dude i said i was sorry but i still think PKM-land as presented by Jade & Dust is a cooler sounding server name . certainly beats the backdoor server .

well the first time it was {CD} clan server , then {sc} clan server , with the {} on them both times .

That's how I set it up.

   

   "C:Program FilesEA GAMESMOHAAMOHAA.exe" + exe mynewfolder/mysafesubfolder/newconfigname.cfg"

   

   newconfigname has all the server stuff passy etc ... ( this one wrapped in a pk3 )

   

   Exec from there a different cfg with your map rotations etc ... with a similar file path or not.
