Heres some updates on some of the things going on in the background peeps ...

Our current Moh coverage is AA/SH/BT/ ... and now OpenMoh, PA and possibly Airborne, Rick and I have been looking at PA and thats another we are going to try and save and possibly Airborne too sometime soon when the MasterServer support stops.  Beyond that i think the rest are all just Console type Ports and have lost that Moh feel ... or do you think otherwise? :P

OpenMoh:
Elgan and Thor are hammering out ways to convert Moh BSPs and Models into a format suitable for the UE4 engine, Elg is writing plugins for blender and its now outputting Mohdm1 into a format UE4 can read but with some issues that theyre working on. Yes you read that correctly, Mohdm1 (the whole map) was loaded into the UE4 Engine!  Once they have perfected the conversion processes a tutorial will be written so anyone that wishes to help can simply read the tutorial, download the tools and help contribute.

FAKK2 Source:
Ron recently returned from the States and text me to get the names/mailling addys of the Dev Team for the NDAs, he said they should be done by the weekend but ill not hold him to that, im confident however this is going smoothly and genuinely.
This release will enable OpenMoh, Reborn and many other projects to start or come to fruition.

I must say one BIG MASSIVE thanks here to Mark Dochtermann who was my EA Source previously and has now helped me once again to pursue Source beneficial to the Moh Community, well done that man ... more on Mark in a moment ... ;)

PA:
Rick and I decided to look into Pacific Assault to see what the engine/game was like, i remember playing it a few times when it first came out but was too consumed in AA stuff back then to jump into it properly and it was forgotten about ... until now.

Wow - i am blown away by this game and engine, its what i would call the missing link between BreakThru and BattleField 2, it no longer uses the BSP mapping system and has moved forward with layers and models so the process of making maps is speeded up greatly, it does however save the process as a BSP, the size of the maps also blew me away, for flying its great to fly around in a map without hitting invisible objects, low ceilings and running out of map in less than a minute. Then there are newer functions, the Havok Physics engine which Moh definately needed does a nice job too. I mentioned this to Mark recently as i knew he worked on the team that created this - although i didnt know to what extent, Mark informed me this was his game, his team, and his engine, he has patents for it :)
Of course i immediately asked about the Source but he said EA still owns it, looks like another quiet word in EAs ear needed from myself again :)

I showed Mark this video i created recently, i modified the Planes to be usable as and when needed and done some flights over Pearl Harbour and a few other maps, Mark liked it and showed some of his old EA colleagues who also got a kick from it ...
