   i had asked him to add that in original version

   it is so that the planes triggers are set so only certain teams can use it. i had wanted it for maps like crossroads where u can spawn all over.

   

   u can exec it from below level waittill prespawn

   

   and you dont have to do any legs or torso editing

I try the plane mod "admin-pro 1.0” with bot maps and i can not

   

   kill the bots with a plane, also bots where not able to damage planes.

   

   

   

   By making (in the script) planes "solid" bots can now damage planes, but

   

   i still have a problem to kill bots with a planes.

   

   

   

   can somebody help me.

I tried admin pro v 1.12  and when i get in a plane it blows up or when you start to move it blows up

Hi,

   

   thats in fact a little prob, that planes don't break galss (windows) or else but players only. There are a few maps, e.g. Sahara, where some detonations (explosive barrels with or w/o breaking walls) are placed, but can't triggered by planes weapons.

   

   I have about 25 or 30 planemaps on my servers, stock and custom, and this is a missed feature.

   

   Any idea about fixing/scripting this?

That could be possible, but only if:

   1. Friendly fire would be off.

   2. Bombs would instantly kill players no matter how far from the explosion they are.

well,  i dont think so, The planes guns are glued mg's but they are fake non hurting bullets. They are just for effect.  If u turn their bullets on it will blow stuff up, (if they hhit it) but it will also kill plaers many times before the scripts kills them.

   

   The part that kills players is scripted and not gun fire. if u took away the mgs, u wud still be able to kill people and hear them shoot but without tracers, they are dummy guns. Make the mg guns real and you will find most kills are mg's and not yours.

You could achieve the effect with radiusdamage, though. That's the way I had it in FFE first, but I removed it because I wanted variable damage and friendly fire being respected.

   thanks for answering. Seems to be a thing to take it as is. But some thoughts we had about the planes.. ideas for gametypes or anything similar.

   

   Gametypes:

   -Planes against troopers - axis planes vs allies troops and vice versa (team balance is 1 plane vs 2 troopers)

   

   -Planes against Planes (perhaps with huge big maps, w/o "ground", or with simple grounds)

   

   ==> In both types, the plane flyer has to spawn as a plane, no triggers anywhere to activate by troopers, no spawning as normal player for the plane-team. If one dies, he respawns as plane.

   

   Other ideas:

   

   Making the trigger for getting a plane not like now, with this little glowing planes, but as "real" planes w/o clipping. Like the planes at "Flughafen", just move towards it an fly the plane. The plane model would have to disappear, so if there are 5 planes on the map, just 5 players can activate it. Once activated, it disappears and can just be re-used if the former player dies.

   

   

   I hope, someone gets this thoughts, and maybe sees some good idea in it and perhaps tries to build a gametype or good mod. Or some idea gets into the next version. ;)

HELP:blush:dozingoff  I have downloaded the adminpro 1.12 beta, I used to use the older version with a windows server, I recently rented a server that is on a linux,  I have worked with elgan, and have tried everything to get this to work.  I have the client on my machine, didn't change anything to it.  I installed the adminpro.pk3 to the main folder of the server, and zipped the settings folder then renamed it settings.pk3 from settings.rar.  I have tried entereing commands thru rcon, and thru the menu, neither work, and it never picks me up as an admin.  thru the menu I can change maps, restart, etc... but cannot run any of the mods like weapons limiter etc... any and all help would be greatly appreciated, I love this tool, and am frustrated that I have not had any luck getting it to work.  I have put the folder straight in, i have zipped it and renamed it settings.pks  Settings.pk3  user_settings.pk3  zzzsettings.pk3, no matter what I name it I have not been able to get it to work.  Please Please Help.  Clanservers is where I am renting the server from,  and the path I go to thru their ftp to get to my sight is ftp://63.208.142.89/moh/63.208.142.89:12203/main/">ftp://63.208.142.89/moh/63.208.142.89:12203/main/ ....  the only files I can access on the  server are under the main folder, I can't even see the files you can normally see under mohaa where the main is usually located.

   do you have any other mods?

   

   did u try clicking the scan for admins button on the rcon menu?  does it give u any feedback when u send a admin_cmd rcon cmd.  eg

   

   'rcon admin_cmnd "iprintln hello all"'

I am having the same problem as Mess Hall and use the same server clanservers. Any help on this would be greatful. I have tryed everything and i just can't get anything to work :( If anyone knows what to do for it to work on clanservers please fill us in.. thanks
