Rcon problems

Hey guys,

I tried to use my rcon today and it didnt work!!! I tried everycode and I tried using the Admin pro codes, please help MY GAME SERVER IS SPEARHEAD

did u try other normal rcon commands? like say ?



   just do



   rcon say hello!



   if console says hello, then your rcon is good, check ur rconpassword is right on client and server, if all, then u have to reboot ur server, Sometimes SH and BT lose the con connectionw ehn they ahve been online for a long time...no idea why.,

I did rcon say Hi Everyone and it didnt work so I restarted the server and the samething IT DID NOTHING

did u restart or reboot it? u will have to turen the server off and on again,

I did a full boot on it shut it off for a bout 3 minutes than booted it back up

Is this a server that you rent?????

If it is YOU NEED your server company to re-boot the WHOLE server box....

Turning your server off and on yourself will do NOTHING....

Or check the server.cfg has a password set

the rconpassword is fine and im trying to have the server co stop the whole box and restart it. I hope this will fix the problem, thanks for all your helpful input

The server company should do it....



   My server company has ignored my emails(about 12 of them for 7 days)

   I have had NOOOO rcon for 7 days......

   So i switched server companies last night...

humm m8,open your server.cfg and make sure the rcon pass is set between "your pass here"



   then save .cfg file and upload to server,reboot server,ur done.

Maybe try reinstalling the game on the server.

why did you do the restart,,,did you change anything on the server???



   and what are you typeing to set it in the rcon
