Hacking Clan

Hi Im sure most of you have heard of the edited. Well they not only use hacks that make them better but they mess up peoples server. They somehow can take over someone elses server and change its name and kick people from it. They also can take over teamspeak servers. I really wouldnt want this to happen to my server so if anyone knows how to stop this i would appreciate it. Also they come in and hack like crazy with aimbots and stuff but when you try to kick them it doesnt work.edited

Invent a good rcon password.

And kick by 'clientkick #', where # is their client slot number, which can be obtained through the 'status' command.

its not the password i have a really long password. They do it all the time. They somehow take over the servers with out even needing the rcon pass

You need to create a password.cfg file with your password in it...



   Then when in server just exec password.cfg



   There are programs out there that can get your password via console!!!!

I'm a man of science, I won't believe it till I see it.

   Seriously, the only ways of doing these things are:

   1. Having the RCON access.

   2. Having some kind of remote access to the server host machine (SSH shell, VPN, etc.).

   3. Having physical access to the server host machine.

   I think we can rule #2 & #3 out. Have they done it to your server? I suppose you saw/heard from others that they did it to their servers. It just must be that they had easy passwords.

I use autokick like most servers. How can i stop them from making it so they cant be kicked. that would be pretty annyoing if someone wus cheating and messin up your server but you couldnt do anything about it. Thanks for the password.cfg idea. Also how can i stop them from taking over the teamspeaks?

I would not goto the website unless you are using firefox!!!!

IE can DL virus's via websites!!!!

I think your worrying over nothing, you shouldnt go around accusing a clan of such things without proof, nor use these forums to name them, [yellow]fixes[/yellow] are out there for everything as far as i know, i would also disable voting if you have it turned on.

This still isnt the place to bring it up m8, if he has a server problem then he just needs to look for fixes etc.

   Please do not post anymore about this. Get the fixes on your server so no one can crash it.
