i started a map yesterday . v2 inspired

   

   its all underground , and each area-room is controlled by door areaportals ! .

   in radiant inside and out screen shots .

   i will add xmas things using script after i finish , then the map can be used still after xmas is over .

   as you can see i have made it as tho the tunnels are cut out of snow , you will be needing some good snow shades ;) or you may just be snow blind after 10 mins of this lol .
im back for a while but not to stay so if you need anything fixed just ask away.

   very well setout small mall great for tdm use nice texturing. Light textures are good also liked the ice

   slide . Chopper sounds fit perfect with the chopper . Little stairways all around the map splits map up

   for good game play fps stable at 95-97 fps good work pkm :)

   iv got most of the entrance built to the main tunnels for my xmas entry .

   the screen shot of me in the map is the sky box area & entrance to allies areas .

   

   my sky box is the biggest box in the radiant screen shot , shows the tunnels leading from the allies main spawn area to the sky box area .

   ok all i need to build know is the axis main spawn area , add some bs to make it look nice tunnels linking them all up and its done .

   

   snowing out side only ;) with dday sky and some fog .

   fps is good to ;) to say its snowing and foggy , them door portals helping there i think ;) .

I am working on a small town. I dont know if i will finish but i have a pic so my idea box wont run dry. That is the main reason that I dont finish maps. My ideas just run out on me. If I get enough time I will finish it.

   That is just for structure position, and relative size. My am having trouble with textures though. Does anyone have a guide or something for textures?

stock. I know how to make custom but that just makes me need more time. I can build maps but when it comes to what i texture each piece my buildings turn out like crap. Here is a screenshot in radiant of what the first little bit looks like.

textures look fine in there so far . you'll use ctrl+f a lot for adjustments , also good lighting (not just lights but ambient settings) really help the textures look good . try downloading http://medalofhonor.filefront.com/file/PKM_Red_Christmas_Mod;73641">http://medalofhonor.filefront.com/file/PKM_Red_Christmas_Mod;73641 for examples on how with a combination of caulk_sky, farplane and lighting, you can get a beautiful snow town .
