mac pc

hi , i need to now why my custom map i made will not work on a mac pc .

   the mac pc starts to load the map , gets just over half way loaded , and locks up .

did u include the .min file ?

no should i have ? .

   i added the bsp and scr .

   

   i added the map file to a new folder .

   

   thats all , am i supposed to put all the files in the pk3 ? .

try adding the min file and see what are the results. If you dont have it, just use another min file and rename it as your map.

   hmmm i need to add this to my download pk3 too ? or other mac players will not be able to use it .

   

   will this affect only mac pc's ? or is there some windows pc's that could need it too .

   should i always add the min file ? along with the bsp , or should i just add them all ? .

   

   dam im a noob .

Add it everytime you release it, then Mac users can play the map too, its needed by Macs but not PC's

   The Mac coders at 2015 fucked 'up all the whole game... (fps issues, bugs etc...) no really good support on it

   what are you saying djfou ? the coders made a booboo by not adding the (min) file ? i think in this case it was me who made the booboo lol .

   i dont understand ! eagames stock maps & pk3's dont have the (min) file ! but mac pc players can join the stock maps without it .

   important message to all mappers out there ! include your map (min) file with every custom map you build .

no  prob, remember to add the min file evertime you release a map. Also remember that map users cant do executables as well (exe installers)
