I think I killed Radiant!

When I try to make something as detail (ctrl+shift+d, or through selection/make detail) radiant removes whatever I have selected.

   

   Also, I can't move around a map with shift or ctrl and arrow keys now, I can only move in large steps without shift or ctrl.

   

   Does anyone know what I can do to fix these problems?

i learn in all this years, that radiant acts sometimes stubborn as a mule, but it is truly indestructible.

   

   - brushes can be invisible, if you use "filteroptions" - maybe you set details - so marked brushes get hidden....

   - moveing in radiant can be abnormal, if you change "camera-movement-type". i think you have check your iconbar, there is one button, which shows you three different icons. an eye, an eye with a #1 and a third who shows eye and a #2. klicking on it change the the icon and the function. anyhow, i get this abnormal characteristics from time to time, never find out "why"... but refresh the camera-movement-type to eye with #2 clear this prob.

   - if you work with AA-radiant-version, you will check the location of archive "entdefs.pk3".

   

   just some experience i collect....
