AA/SH/BT Questionaire

   Which game do you prefer and more importantly WHY?

   

   The reason i ask is because at the moment there are 3 seperate games and 3 communities, we should be bringing all these together into one - conversions have already been partially done before and work still continues on them.

AA simply because it's the only one i have and will have . it's the backbone and most popular to mod for .

AA  might be more important, but with time SH has become really popular. BT is a great expansion, and everytime i search and explore it, i like it more. shame that people didnt give BT a chance, but still got a great conversion like 1936, wich was way better than SH stock and BT stock.

I play Breakthrough because that's what my team plays.

I started modding AA

   Played Sh and BT

   Some of modding is a little different

   But I am "the man" and can mod all 3...:D:D

i like them all,,my favorite is SH

   Bt was a bit laggy,,so we didn't start a server for it,,the maps are great to play,,

   

   But putting them all together,,,thats a great plan

   

   on wich main game wil it run,,aa,sh,bt,,,,??

   The only reason breakthrough never took off is because the linux binaries was never done released.my opinion..i feel if that would have been released i would be running a bt server right now as opposed to a sh one

   

   thats one reason sh is my fav over bt.

I prefer BT because it has Liberation.

   

   SH is fine, pretty much the same, but I cannot get on with AA. Having not played that first its like playing summit really outdated. I mean no green or red kill messages so you can tell if its friend or foe and the sounds, pfff.

   

   I'm sure those that played AA first like that better but its only because people don't like change. They expect to be just as good but have to start at the bottom and learn again.

I played AA first but agree SH + BT are a lot nicer (from a modding point of view), change - ive played BF2 and Panzer Elite since Moh, cant get more change than that lol but for moddability i always come back to Moh.

   

   Liberation is one of the most boring gametypes ive played but you just cant account for peoples taste no matter which game, its good you have the option as thats what its all about, the options available in the Moh series are far better than any game yet from a modding stance, so easy and addictive to get involved in

   

   Coloured crosshairs and messages - lol cmon your there to kill not test if your colourblind

Started Modding AA,then went to SH

   Then took the jump to COD4

   Call of Duty is really structured like C or C++

   That was right up my alley.:p

   

   Now if only people would play on Un-ranked servers.:D

   

   If the ranking could be fixed in upgrades of COD4 i would jump back to modding the bastard

You guys sound like me. I was playing TF2 for a few months and suddenly had a itch to go back and fix somethings in my teams BT server I always meant to get to or redo. MoH is really easy to mod and Like Card said, games with rankings kinda ruin the whole mod experience because most of the people just care about ranking up rather than having a good time. Our BT server is a balanced rifles only FT server, but I turned on the hulk jumping rapid-firing bazookas for a few maps and the people on actually had a great time. So it's nice to mix things up now and then ...

Rooftop Pistol Shootouts with low gravity on a friday night was a popular one with my old clan {6th Airborne}, sadly i closed the clan down when the hax started appearing - which fortunately meant i was bored so looked into modding and voila - MRU

like most of you i play other games bf/bf2/desert combat etc.. but i love AA, get pissed off after a while but always seem to come back to it, as someone pointed out it so addictive i just cant seem to stay away..i have spearhead installed but dont play it much ive tried BT but had big lag probs that i could never figure out. anyhoo someones post here has given me an idea il post it now in scripting
