   hm... foreigh... stormie show me your ypr765-models. that is nice work - without lightray -

   

   i am not sure, why you need lightray so fast? i mean, if you try to animate wheels and tracks on your vehicles.... there is no need for lightray. this can be done, in most cases, by editing the autogenerated *.tik and *.shader-files of scorpios milkshape-plugin...

   

   most of rotating wheelstuff is done like that... i guess, rotating the meshes itself is a problem.

   this is very simple stuff, but i think it can be usefull. i guess, this will give you an impression, how to make rotating wheels and tracks for your models...... and use it by mapscript!

   

   But..... for rotating turrets you need milkshape, also for cannon-shooting anims.... yes
