crashing my servers

I actually thought my ISP was the culprit.:con

   It was like I was losing a connection to server,But my Autokick Program was working.:(

   On same computer too.

   

   What kinda Patch did Gameservers use?

he just told me it was a server binary patch - his name is Don Tellefsen - He should know what your talking about or you can reference the work that was done on my server 63.208.142.74:12203

   I know its suppose to be funny - but I;ve been dealing with a crashing server for several months now. :((

   

   Just now was my objective server - it will run fine for several maps maybe even a whole rotation. then without any noticeable errors it will hang up - you can watch the connection icon blink as long as you decide to stay on - if you leave and try to come back, you time out. But if everyone leaves, the server picks up again just fine in the same map you left it. :((

   

   

    I have the same problems with GS same hang up and all. My problems started around late November mostly in the weekends is when all this hang up starts. Last weekend was the worst one it took over 5 hours. I dont think its a server crash but a ddos attack on there network. The ip you posted viper is that a dallas server. IF yes then that could be the problem i know they been having problems with Chicago,Dallas servers getting ddos. I'm hoping it doesn't happen again this weekend looking at the history from November seems to happen every weekend.

Then you can add NY location,Tampa and Atlanta

   

   I changed Locations last weekend.

   Same result.

My New York server is ok - besides the text flooding nuisance player from the netherlands keeps crashing my server (altho it restarts automatically).

   

   Been a few weeks - u guys ok now on your server?

   

   those with gameservers what fix, if any, do you use for text flooding?  the one i c from invisiblewarriors requires mohaa.exe replacement - is that just for windows?

   

   the search function on this forum keeps giving me link error when i click links from search results.

our server is with gameservers also..linux..we use sv_statefix_sh.pk3 by elgan..a modified fgameded.so and spearhead_lnxded and have no crashing problems now for years..if i can be of any assistance or someone would like to try these files on their server would be glad to share.Years ago we had a crash problem but come to find out it was gameservers hardware problem.

just private msg me your email...all files compressed are only 1.35 megs Of course you will have to intergrate all the state fixes into your state files if yours is custom...but copy and pasting isnt very hard:)
