What colour scheme do people prefer?

i downloaded "Cotonti Genesis 0.0.4" and found a skins/sed-light/img folder, this demo image named "SED-Light_lBoxHD.gif"

   for change font color in box hd, we should edit a css file i think

   bull-d, nice looking header, am concerned about the font color used for any titles/text in the box using that image . i haven't read anywhere on the cotonti forums about them allowing image backgrounds yet .

   

   

   its just html / css You can do anything they can.

   

   btw nice generated themes, i could pop them up, a couple , people could pick their own then and or if everyone can decide on a specific skin, ill put it default.

   2. scroll down to sed-light drop down box and selectanother skin, the 3 were all anmed themegenerated or something.

i just tested the skins and it was an absolute chaos. I didnt understand a thing. the colours seemed ok though. Can you upload the grunge theme elg ?

yah Grunge is nice. Simple but nice.

i'm not big on the grunge one but i can see why it's being used . the ones i made do look very plain and without dividing lines, can seem confusing . given the results so far, i hope this is just a beta...not happy with this very limited program .

   

   elgan, make a copy of the grunge skin and rename it something else . then open and replace the images named ''body.jpg'' and ''header.jpg'' with the ones in this .zip...

   you may want to 'command-out' any .css entries referring to 'paper_right.gif' .

true that, uploads fail everytime .

   bulldozer, i use nothing special, mostly MS digital image pro 10 ($20) .

   further proof that you don't need photo$lut to make something good .

   

   it almost seems like the table/board width is working with the text wrap . any chance the # of posts per page could be reset/set ?
