Anti Camper {sfx} update ideas please.

i have a few things to add but i wanted to know what people want on it most.

   

   What im going to add.

   

   1. Set what modes it runs in. etc. obj, tdm.

   2. makes admin section always run.

   3. bt cvars have spaces in.

   4. check they are alive so dead ppl dont camp.

   5. Add more types/script cmds. maybe make the cvar splitter sort intergets/float values out too.

   

   thats all the ideas i have:S?

   i wont make anything just yet till i have more to add in. I got lots to do also so maybe wont get it dont straight away.

   

   also maybe in the pack i should add anti shark mg fixes? Maybe ill make a team change fix also and add it in along with a nade fix?

   

   Ati camper (Sfx) anti camper crime stoppers edition:D. maybe one without ?

   What do people want?

   

   more types? Maybe include ur fave admin script punishment things u like but didnt know add them ?

There's one thing I noticed when playing on some server with your anticamper mod. It's that when you lay dead and don't respawn, the mod still counts it as camping and an explosion appears on top of your dead body. :S

Is it mikes.legs based again Elgan?

   

   I presume it has to be

   

   Just with :

   

   High jump

   Anti camp

   

   and I see u r playing wiv weapons limiter based on mikes.legs

   

   The crystalball foresees many frustrated admins ref mikes.legs conflicts

   I love (and rely) on yer anti-camp but would love a degree of freedom to muck about wiv m.legs map specific yet keep anti-camp functionality

i will be wpokring on a new update to camper i think with more of everything and more fixes.

   

   the weapons hting is totaly lag free and uses mike toro.

   

   yes anti camp uses mike legs.

   

   What probs do u have? u just need ot add 2 exec lines for camper. U can set what state files to run form the camper txt. U cna muck with the files as u please. As long as its got them exec lines it will work.

   

   maybe i sud add some support for common things done to state files? like a setting for jump height (this wud have to exec a script that makes player jump) but it would work and be settable in a setting.

   cvar camper is now a cmd

   cvar help now a cmd

   added game type support

   cvar reset removed and is now a cmd

   weapons cvars are now cmds

   optimed weapons check

   admin menu will always run

   set tik's for bomb mdl and explosion

   Set the model tik for the tent

   random type

   tele type

   mg fix, shark fix, team swap fix.

   to_death has been replaced duration

   default camp time now 40

   advert time setable

   added message center hud print.

   debug code removed

   camper map specific setting support

   jump cmd change dot jumpxy

   camper split cmd in diff scripts for diff games so more can be easily added and changed

   

   

   and these cmds are so far supported. any others just say

   

   

      Stufftext ( string's)

         camper_cmd playerid stufftext strings.

         Stufftexts the player with what u typed.

         eg.

         camper_cmd "1 stufftext say i smell of wee"

   

      type ( string type )

         player type string type

         Runs this type on the player.

   

   

      iprint ( string's)

         camper_cmd playerid iprint strings.

         iprint. Prints to the player under the compass

         eg.

         camper_cmd "1 iprint how are u ?"

   

      deadbody      

         Spawn a dead body

   

      face ( Vector angles )    

         Force angles to specified vector

   

      forcelegsstate ( String legsstate )    

         Force the player's legs to a certain state

   

      forcetorsostate ( String torsostate )    

         Force the player's torso to a certain state

   

      fullheal      

         Heals player.

   

      give ( String name )    

         Gives the player the specified thing (weapon, ammo, item, etc.)

   

      jumpxy ( Float forwardmove, Float sidemove, Float speed )    

         Makes the sentient jump.

   

      leave_team      

         Leave the current team

   

      modheight ( String height )    

         change the maximum height of the player

         can specify 'stand', 'duck', 'duckrun', 'prone', or a specific height

      

      noclip      

         Toggles the noclip cheat.

   

      notready      

         makes this player not ready for the round to start

   

      physics_off      

         turn player physics off.

   

      physics_on      

         turn player physics on.

   

      primarydmweapon ( String weaptype )    

         Sets the player's primary DM weapon

   

      ready      

         makes this player ready for the round to start

   

      resetstate      

         Reset the player's state table.

      

      respawn         

         Respawns the player.

      

      show      

         show the entity, opposite of hide.

   

      hide    

         hide the entity, opposite of show.

   

      tele ( Vector location )    

         Teleport to location

   

      turn ( Float yawangle )    

         Causes player to turn the specified amount.

   

      turnlegs ( Float yawangle )    

         Turns the players legs instantly by the specified amount.

   

      usestuff      

         Makes the player try to use whatever is in front of her.

   

      viewangles ( Vector newAngles )    

         set the view angles of the entity to newAngles.

      

      voicetype ( String voice_name )    

         Sets the voice type to use the player.

   

      vote ( String arg1 )    

         Player votes either yes or no

   

      wuss      

         Gives player all weapons.

   

      help ( cmd for help on )

         Displays a list of help and information.

   

      reset

         resets the mod

   

      resethaveitem ( String weapon_name )    

         Resets the game var that keeps track that we have gotten this weapon

   

      safeholster ( Boolean putaway )    

         Holsters all wielded weapons, or unholsters previously put away weapons

         preserves state, so it will not holster or unholster unless necessary

   

      safezoom ( Boolean zoomin )    

         0 turns off zoom, and 1 returns zoom to previous setting

   

      stopwatch ( Integer duration )    

         Starts a stopwatch for a given duration... use 0 to clear the stopwatch

   

      takepain ( Boolean bool )    

         Set whether or not to take pain

   

      turnupdate ( Float yaw, Float timeleft )    

         Causes player to turn the specified amount.

   

      tweakladderpos      

         Tweaks the player's position on a ladder to be proper

   

      unattachfromladder      

         Unattaches the sentient from a ladder

   

      viewmodelanim ( String anim, [Integer force_restart] )    

         Sets the player's view model animation

   

      watchactor ( Entity actor_to_watch )    

         Makes the player's camera watch the specified actor.

   

   

      weaponcommand ( String hand, [String arg1], [String arg2], [String arg3], [String arg4], [String arg5], [String arg6], [String arg7] )    

         Pass the args to the active weapon in the specified hand

but seriously:

   

   take all weapons so they get hammered

   

   spawn em in the sky as a sausage and let em slam into the floor (yep there is a sausage server side)

   

   glue V2 too em and send em up into sky like a skyrocket

   

   hit their runspeed by giving em a weapon u have knobbled with lousy physics - eg silenced pistol wiv slowcaoch mode

   v2 is done before but why not again.

   

   takeall is there. - same as holster . Just depends on user settings.

   

   runspeed u cna do using scripted as long as htye dont change weap..hmm.

   

   mm  muchrooms.

   

   i was thinkin missiles that chase u. but they wud go through walls:(. if thye didnt it would take them maybe a hour to find u and lag like PA.hehe

yep folks - Cardesvan does some clever things with sausages and V2's - very funny server (if a bit worrying :) )

   

   Carl - do you still use the weiner mod?  Not seen it in rotation when I have visited recently. Still makes me chuckle.

   

   Whatever next?  Phil{sfx} dogs chasing Crazyserver's wieners clan match - rofl.

   

   However - fink there is a serious point here - my suggestion sausage and V2 based on stuff I'd seen on  other servers  - so naughty even to suggest come to think of it.

Crazyserver is 1 scary server lol i love it all except the highjump it annoys me i would prefer to have jetpacks but hay its your server not mine. keep up the good work
