My Omaha Mod

*** NEWSFLASH ***

   

   Currently on the server you will find the Focke Wolf 190 can now be shot down, the pilot can eject, and it can drop bombs, to use the functions ...

   

   E (use) will drop a bomb (you have 3)

   E (use) And Fire will eject you from the Aircraft

   

   Plane takes damage and explodes/kills the player.

   (Thats the plane in Pic D above and you get it from below where you see it - at the bottom of the bank)

   

   

   Update...

   

   Plane is soon to be steerable - yes you fly it yourself!!

   (This version not yet on server) - Developing with Elgan {sfx}

Wow, weve achieved a hell of a lot in such a short time ... the story so far...

   

   stage1.

   I managed to get players glued into planes and flying around the map, i handed this over to Vic to mess with as he wanted to do a plane mod but having a busy lifestyle that he has, he didnt get time to do it so i re-took the planes over and made the Omaha mod.

   

   stage2.

   Elgan joined and was making proximity mines etc and got interested in the planes, at the time he was messing around with a player steering a boat around then i said - whoaaa - sod the boats give me the controls in the Aircraft, so i gave him one of my Aircraft to have a go with, he returned with the Aircraft having full flight controls - an amazing job in such a short time - well done m8!!!

   

   stage 3.

   Youve no doubt flown in them on the server now and were currently looking at enhancing the Aircrafts controls, another idea was to use the old splinepath type Aircraft (the first ones you probably flew in that i made) as Drones - or targets for the player flyable type to attack - youll see on our main page Elgan attacking a C47 Drone that i scripted in so stay tuned for stage 4

Wow this is an old post m8 - we released the flyable planes (its in the mod-files section on page 2) called sfx flyable planes and custom map. Thats as far as we got releasing them, we still havent fully used their potential on the server yet (which we are now doing via a full revamp).
