My thoughts and prayers are with all the people in london.  I agree cobra the death penalty would be good for acts like that. Coward bastards should die a slow death. It made me sick when I heard what happened today. Peace

The attacks were sick i can not belive what they have done, although i hate to say it i did expect it it which in itself is sick!

   

   Stand up tall and never let them win, fight it how you must just never give up.

That's probably the only way one can fight terrorism - don't let them get you terrified.

   

   It's just like kindergarten. They (the terrorists) can't seem to understand that by violence they will only raise more violence. And the governments, not wanting to appear helpless, start wars against innocent, just to show they can do something, even if they can't really punish the guilty. It's a pointless infite loop.

whatever you think of the world leaders you have to admit tony blairs speach was very impressive with all the world leaders backing him up in person, that doesn't happen very often it looked very impressive.

   

   you are right rookie this can never be solved entirely by violence/war - but alot has been solved by that method:

   

   where are the terror training camps now? - destroyed

   

   the main al qaeda leaders have been disbanded/captured

   

   two former dictatorships are now democratic.

   

   if it wasn't for all of that the attacks on london I have no doubt in saying would have been far worce than they were, that is not to belittle the attacks that took place any loss of life is horrific.

   

   of course there is allways going to be splinter cells and groups that aspire to be like al qaeda - those are truely faceless organisations and we can never hope to defeat them other than good intelligence (something us brit's are good at) there was 3 attempts at the london underground in very recent past that has been foiled by intelligence, guess this one slipped passed all the checks.

   

   I really do think we should concentrate on iraq as the conflict there is now getting worce not better, and now is a breeding ground for terroists.

Lets just leave the war and politics to the politicians, sure were sore for what happened in London to those innocent people, but im sure the culprits will be brought to justice.
