Server restart problem

I admin a spearhead server ran by gameserve, a few months ago someone came on to our server and repeatedly restarted it, a friend told me to go to pure-mohaa download section and get the fix, because I was not sure which one to download, linux or windows, I put both on the server. It seemed to do the trick up untill 3 days ago when it started again, the server just kept on restarting, the following day it happened again. It only stopped when I treatend to kick and ban everyone on the server. Is there a way to stop this from happening again, is there any othere fixes I could use.

maybe someone has ur rcon?

   

   though i ahve heard of a bug i htink i know what 1 and how to do it. Im not sure of any fixes. if u have a fix eek:. maybe soemthing is conflicting with it?

   

   cud u give me a link and ill see if somehting might conflicty with it. im nore sure how  u wud fix it unless u edit something..without giving it away.hehe

   No one has my rcon so thats out of the question, the fixes I got were from

   I have emailed you the 2 patches, I will try to find out the OS of the server and let you know

i got them.

   

   u need to use ONLY the one for your OS.windows or linux. then u need to replace the dll on ur server already.

   

   maybe stop serv. dleete the old one. put new one up..sorted

Death or Glory, you can just fire up the RCON, write arch and press enter - you'll get the name of the OS the server is running on.

Best make a backup of the server one should you ever need to replace it (i placed a fix on our server once and the provider went nuts as it ate memory on the box)

why wud a fix eat the memeory

You tell me - an unofficial fix - who knows whats in it, but multiplay werent happy and removed it
