qconsole

the qconsole log on my dedicated server is allways empty: how do i activate it? also will it tell me what was said when players use "chat" or what they type in console? the server is rebooting everynight and the provider says its def not them: pissed off wanna catch the crasher or even just see how hes doing it so i can see about a fix

make sure u have

   

   seta logfile 3

   

   in your config

ok got it thx: but what will qconsole tell me? is there anything else i can activate to save a log were it saves like conversations made on the server or what was typed in console?

This is what I have in my cfg. Saves everything even game chat. Hope this helps.

   // Logs

   seta sv_chatter "1"

   seta g_log "qconsole.log"

   seta logfile "3"

   seta g_logsync "1"

   seta developer "2"

   seta dedicated "1"

   it will just tell u errors and who enterd/left etc

   

   nothign else u can activate

Yes the seta sv_chatter "1" saves the player chat.
