lol, I've been a member for awhile, but rarely post here. Not worthy of a contest entry  tho. It was put together in haste and therefore not perfect, but if it could be used in a skinpak I'm all for it. Right now I have JV's snowcontest running on a BT server of ours, so I have been trying to locate festive holiday skins myself.

In fact I was going to include that map (WD) in a snow mappack .... however, I have to fix a spot where you can jump over the wall. Kruger do you know what I am talking about? If not I'll get a SS for you.

   like obj or ctf and add some stuff and change the way the gametype play's a,bit ?.lol.

   

   hmmm ie omaha in ftobj ! the allies blow up the 2 big guns ! so i would maybe remove the gun models and replace

   them with some nicely deco'ed xmas tree's to blow up lol ?.

You can use anything you wish Jade, its a mod or map competition and just needs to have a christmas feel to it, altho FT isnt really your mod, would be better if it was your own work, Perhaps stealing an xmas tree would be more fun?

   By the way, do take a screenie of your xmas scene, i can use it every xmas like the ones on the mainpage now

   

   An obj idea for someone perhaps ...

   

   Use a TDM map (in gametype 4), have the tips of 8 xmas trees showing just above ground (4 on each side of the map - out in the open), players have to raise the xmas trees by pressing use, The team that raises their trees first wins, harder than it sounds as someone has to stand in the open while pressing use and hoping their team m8s are covering them once a tree has been raised its lights come on.

I'm gonna use Stalingrad and extend it larger, posibly put a tunnel in (like "The Bridge") I dunno :S IM mostly thinking of doing a complete conversion but knowing me i'll never get it done in time..... Good luck people!

Last years competition was an xmas pic competition Storm, all peeps sent were screenies, for the actual mod/s you would need to get in touch with the maker/s

How about a map like toy soldiers except with holiday decorations. Climb up the tree and battle in the branches and the like. There was a UT2003 map like this I found to be a blast.
