Server problem

I have one problem and a question. The problem is when i start a server noone can see it/ join it. Do i need a slot or something that i need to pay for or? I have heard about the All seeing eye . Does that make your server visible?



   And the question: Other servers has game messages like "Visit our webiste at www.esurfh.org" (for example) They are in yellow text. How do you do them? In the console our in programs???

Is your server a home server or dedicated? If its a home server you can make it show in gamespy by ticking the gamespy option - im not sure how long it takes to update.



   The yellow text messages are added through the maps script, example...



   in mohdm2.scr

   A good program for server messaging and managing is Crow Kings Autokick, it allows you to message the server, kick/ban/set a max ping ban bad words etc etc.

A question: Can i have a normal server for gamespy that i can play on because im not the server type or do i need to find someone to be server admin for my clan? Oh i mean can i have a normal server (not dedicated) that still is there when i leave it?

Autokick you install in windows and run from your desktop.



   You mean run a home server and leave it running? For that you need to run a dedicated server and make sure you leave it running, itll also need a server.cfg with map rotation/rcon etc set up for your admins to use. Theres some info here in the scripting forums (converting sp maps to mp) that shows you how to run a dedicated home server

I still cant make the servers visible....

I have Gamespy Arcade and The All-seeing eye. But i still dont know how to make servers visible.

Hmmm i think i must uninstall Moh:AA because some of my files (like the server.cfg do i not know where is it) have disappeared from the place where i installed Moh:AA.

Where can i see my ip adress?
