microsoft longhorn?

Can any1 explain to me anything about longhorn?

   

   

   i think its MS's next windows OS? i read they are releasing parts to public to test as they are going to redo the whole way MS visualy displays.

   

   Also for any1 who likes skinning windows etc this site is great.

   i dont use visual styles or any gfx on my windows. all classic view. no desktop image either. it makes windows run faster;). but i have alot of boot screens and logon screens. thats cool:D

I turn off all the bells and whistles and run a real basic XP for max oomf to the progs that matter. Plus I have to restrain myself when I use other folks PCs with photos of their kids in the background,  frog icons, santa claus screensavers ...............  aaaaaaaaaaaarggghh -- dont get me started LOL.

   people see my xp and think its win 95 ive turned it all down.
