nice read, good story?

any1 know any good films because the story just made u go wow? or books?

   

   for me the movie with the story to make me go wow was usual suspect. I was just taken away with it. increadable.

   

   

   on a side note. i found this article while reading about game design and was like wow. What we all think on paper..err well.not papaper..u know.hehe, pc.anyway like -

   im really looking for a good story. Something that is mind boggling. Somethign impressive. what impresses u?

   

   why? because i want inspiration. Over the next whole year im going to be thinhking and searching for a perfect story in my mind.

I would guess the 9/11 conspiracy theory sticks in my mind from stuff i've read in the last few yrs

   

   I find the theory very far fetched but the concept makes me shutter.

   

   The suggestion made was that the US government deliberately staged the twin towers disaster to drum up anti terrorist feeling around the world. Use this terror and hate to make us feel far more comfortable about going to war against terror figure-heads. Make us feel like we were doing it for our safety. When it was allegedly more about securing oil supply for which the US economy is totally dependant.

   

   Again - not my theory - nor do I suggest I beleive it. Its the concept that such a thing could be arranged that spooks me.

Try a film called "a midnight clear" if you can find it elgan, its about 10yrs old i think: in a nut shell its a ww11 movie about a squad of allies holding a position close to a squad of axis holding another position and both sides are left to their own devices! gets really interesting when "the spooky goings on start" definitley not the usual rubbish: worth the watching!
