any one had experience with these files?

im trying to mod a different game, but im not aware if there is a tool i can use or even how to begin editing these files. if any one has had any experience with any of the following types of files, please let me know, thanks.

   

   .lgp

   .bin

   .dat

   .tex

   .lmd

   .ply

   .fmt

Hey - dont knock it. Cool genre. Dipped my toe in there quite a bit. In fact I have this muscle in my body over which I have no control. Everytime Nintendo bring out a new Zelda game it gets my wallet out and makes me log on to Amazon.com.  I then hog the wide screen tv and surround sound system for several weeks cursing at the screen and cancelling the wifes pre-programmed reminders for Eastenders.

   

   The Princess Zelda - she MUST be saved.  Link [sfx} to the rescue..................

hehe, well i played it some 9yrs ago in 96 and was just takin another look at it, seems to be one of those games that just dont take to mods
